This is what I call a truly outstanding release and a massively underrated gem. On the whole, it sounds pretty much like the soundtrack of games such as the oldest Crash Bandicoot video games (when they were released by Naughty Dog) or the Wipeout franchise (especially Wipeout 2097). No kidding, listen to "Fungoids" while racing on the "Gare d'Europa" track. It is just... 100% fun !
Most of the tracks are composed by unusual loops (including the help of TB-303 acid sounds) which seem to come from the confines of the universe, important percussions with a variable rhythm and another industrial samples that give an excellent result.
However, a remarkable record is the number 5 called "Shoot To Kill" which begins with a piano melody and then goes into a cool electric guitar riff. It is the sole music to use "real" instruments other than electronic stuff.
All the tracks of this CD are currently available on YouTube at the moment where I am writing these lines. So, go first listen to the songs of "Zart", and if you enjoy it, don't hesitate anymore and buy this album.
