Re-discovered the vinyl a few weeks ago, after having had it stored away in a pile of old hardcore for literally decades.
still amazed at what a masterpiece this is.
and now is says that Zenith has passed away two weeks ago?
this is rather weird.

I couldn't believe what I came across when I rediscovered these tracks. It's one of those records that tore up the solarsystem. Having been to many party's at all those amazing weird and unique places, this record was usually played around the time that the sun couldn't wait no more and casted its first beaming rays over the landscape. The crowd had been moving to beats and bleeps and got completely drawn into the the tension of those nights. And then, when only the hardest people were able to reach such party's, that took place fully out of reach of society and its controllers, when the night was coming to an end and everyone knew the beast had been taken down, the scene took on one of its deadliest weapons and threw this record on the table. And when this record was played the crowd stood up one last time with their fists in the air shouting for more.
Being able to finally own these productions and putting them on just on the same energy level like back then, is like becoming one with the solarsystem again.

I listened to this record more than once when it got out, but never convinced me to buy it. Some elements are good, like the beat and some sounds, but some elements make it very lame I think. Defenitely not a record that is worth big $. Other releases like the Koenig cilinder serie and the mechanism serie on this label are far more better. Also the second release of Zenith on IST is far more better I think. But it's just a matter of taste of course.

A Green Hallucinated Mushroom is a work of art. This track is deep, soothing, and strangely comforting because of the haunting undertones. I find myself drawn into the soundscape as it worms it’s way into my mind, trance-inducing ambience. I don’t know why people go for the other track’s as this is something else.

Incredible record indeed, but in my opinion overwanted.
I searched for it a long time, talking years...
Was definitely worth the search, uplifting cut acid strings which drive you into madness.
11 minutes of playing with samples and mind blowing sounds.
All the old Zenith releases are like this, uptempo trance influenced techno you could call it.

This record is probably one of the best released on this excellent label. The flowers of intelligence is a long, repetitive and hypnotic track that takes your mind somewhere else. And my favourite, Streets of Avalon contains an unforgettable melody that will remain in your brain for years. If you find it, buy it ;)
