Updates to Our Terms of Service
We want to fuel your passion for music, and we’re committed to being as transparent as possible with any developments that may affect the Discogs community.
We are updating our Terms of Service to better explain our coverage and offerings for users like you. Below, you will find a breakdown of the changes, which can be summarized in three main updates:
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Discogs. Prior to this change, we used to require users to meet the age of consent for their specific jurisdiction. By standardizing the age, we can streamline our terms. This change is also reflected in our Privacy Policy and App Privacy Policy.
- User-contributed content furthers the mission of Discogs. Previously, the license only covered the specific services we provide, which limited our ability to protect the content contributed by the community.
- We added dispute resolution requirements. These include guidelines for arbitration. This is very common for online platforms like Discogs to cover in their Terms of Service.
For additional details, you can review the complete Terms of Service. These updates will take place on April 8, 2024. By continuing to use your Discogs account, you automatically accept the terms.
Thank you for being a part of the Discogs community.
