Aktivehate* ‎– Corrosive Intent

I was pretty sure that I had left the stagnated EBM/electro-scene behind me as it gradually got infested with trance, futurepop, hellectro and those other names I really don't know much about. Maybe that's why I was so surprised when I came across this EP on the (admittedly diverse) netlabel Enough. The intensity and uncompromising nature got me more or less instantly hooked. There isn't really much to say about the music, this is another typical Suicide Commando-clone, formulaic and derivative and full of annoying samples. Yet at the same time it is melodic, relentless and uncompromising, and at full speed ahead. I find I am having a hard time stopping listening to it, which must mean that they're doing something right.
