L'Enfance Rouge was founded in 1993 by François R. Cambuzat, Chiara Locardi and Jacopo Andreini. The group was classified as "avant rock". The musical style of the band is difficult to classify. The music of L'Enfance Rouge can only be roughly described as a collection of recurring dissonances and distortions, technical-sounding sounds of all kinds and combinations of acceleration and deceleration. They have played more than 1800 concerts from 1995, from Vilnius to Tbilissi, from Swinoujscie to Sevilla as from Prague to Tunis, invited by international festivals, theatres and clubs.
