The origin of the name "Vril" is in sumerian language and means "The power that keeps the universe together".
The artist also had his name from a book written by Edward Bulwer Lytton (The person who also said:"The pen is mightier than the sword"). The novel is released in 1871 and is one of the very first science fiction books in history, also is meant as satire to the spirit of the age Lytton lived in and which was also somehow obsessed by progression.
