Jamaican deejay born in Spanish Town, Jamaica on 23 March 1945*. He ran his own label, Cry Tuff. The Voice of Thunder was shot to death in his home in Kingston, September 15, 1983*. He was 38 years old.

* According to his wife the birth date is 23rd of March 1945 and the generally known day of his passing is 15th of September 1983 his grave stone indicates different dates for his birth date (25th of March 1945) and day of his passing (8th of September 1983). Possibly he died the 8th of September 1983 and was burried a week later?
