Adam Stacey

Real Name:Adam Stacey

Adam Stacey is a musician/composer best known for being in the bands, Estradasphere and Secret Chiefs 3. Born in Los Angeles, he began playing the accordion at a very early age but eventually became more known as a keyboardist. During high school, he joined many bands and began formally studying music while learning other instruments. In addition to being in rock bands, he was also involved in symphonic and marching bands primarily as a mallet percussionist.

In 2003, he moved to the coastal town of Santa Cruz and joined the eclectic band, Estradasphere. During that time, he also began playing with Secret Chiefs 3. Adam has since toured all over the U.S., Europe, and Canada and has recorded on a wide variety of albums from John Zorn to Amanda Palmer. He has also contributed his talents as a percussionist to the Romanian folk band Fishtank Ensemble, the Zimbabwean marimba ensemble Masanga, and has served as the pit-orchestra keyboardists for two seasons of Shakespeare Santa Cruz,

In 2014, Adam completed his Bachelor of Music degree in Media Composition at California State University Northridge and has since scored music for film, theatre, and other media. He currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and son.
