Franco Romano (born in Naples - July 26, 1946)
Francesco Calabrese (born in Naples - March 10, 1943)
Before they recorded as a duo, they took part of a group containing 8 musicians all named Franco. That explains the numbers in their duo name. They choosed to write songs under their alias Sharade E Sonago, first getting signed by Style. In 1968 they scored a huge hit (Ho Scritto T'Amo Sulla Sabbia ), participating at "Disco per l'estate" competition. After changing label to Fonit Cetra, Franco Romano lost interest in music and specialized in health physics. That was the end of this duo. Francesco Calabrese continued his solo career for some years.
