Born in London in 1961. Studied trumpet, piano, composition and orchestration at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Worked as a trumpet player and arranger for many recording artists, and his media music compositional experience includes film and television productions. Steve has also written music for commercials including Vodafone, Nescafé, Bells Whiskey, Fairy Liquid, Volvo, Camelot, Clover & MacDonalds.
