with countertenor vocalist Jimmy Somerville (Born: June 22, 1961).
Somerville left in 1985 to form The Communards and was replaced by John Jøn (real name: John Foster). Jøn left Bronski Beat in November 1986, and was later replaced by Jonathan Hellyer.
