Jonas Rendbo

Award-winning danish artist, producer and songwriter Jonas Rendbo, has been praised by media all over the world, as the Godfather of Scandinavian Soul. A heavy title, which hints at the importance Jonas has had, as a contributor to the genre, over a several decades. With a unique and distinctive sound of his own, he has consistently been releasing quality music, and touring, both as a solo artists, but also always involved in many side-projects, and investing in new artists, to pass on the torch to.

Having crossed paths over the years with some of the biggest names in neo-soul, like Omar, John Legend, Joss Stone, Lynden David Hall and Bilal, Jonas has so far ticked most of the boxes on his wishlist.

His latest release “4ward Fast To Future” was a collaboration with the british multi-instrumentalist and producer The Scratch Professer, who many will recognize for the work he has done with his brother, the british soul music icon Omar Lyefook. Together Jonas and Scratch crafted a handful of songs, which became the EP, that was released May 2020.
