It is with deep sadness that I just discovered today, January 30, 2010, that my dear old friend and business partner, Louis F Pace (Lou), passed away. I found out because I just read a note written by his son Jonathan on this site.
Lou was not only a great friend but also a very talented musical person, a great composer and a discoverer of great talent. Together we found Donna Allen and together we recorded most of her albums. She was a smashing success at the time.
I lost contact with Lou some years ago and although I tried to locate his whereabouts, I was not able to find him.
Today I located what his son has written about his passing away. How sad, how very sad.

Lou Pace passed away on August 15th, 2008 after a year long fight with a rare type of cancer. He was a savvy music proffesional who was known for his kindness and generous personality. He was an extremely hard working man who always made time for his children, and always had a smile on his face. He was a great father and friend who touched the lives of many in the music industry. He will be greatly missed, and always remembered.
