Rayne-Bo Ramblers

Cajun swing band, founded and led by Happy Fats. Founded in 1935; disbanded in 1941. The band started as a trio, including Happy Fats and Simon Schexnyder on guitar and Norris Savoy on fiddle. With this line-up they stepped in the recording studio for the first time on August 10, 1935, after offering to back Nathan Abshire in the studio.

By the second recording session in September 10, 1937 the band had more than doubled in size. During the six years the band existed, they recorded a total of 63 tracks in 6 different recording sessions.
