Peter was one of the first truly inspiring DJs I heard - playing his regular sets at React's "Garage" night at Heaven in the mid - late 90s. He was (one of) the first to combine the hard-edged sound of techno with the float and groove of trance and the uplift of house to produce music and sets that just have to be danced to.
A pioneer of what was to become known as the "Nu-Energy" sound, he went on to surpass such pigeon holeing with a superb, flowing album "Widescreen and Digital".
He's one of very few DJs who I've allowed to influence my own style of DJing. Thanks Peter.
