breakbeat/hip house house artist best known for the release "chickeneye" released in 1999. According to sources, there was initially 2 different members of Deejay Punk Roc. One been Jon Paul Davies (aka Brooklyn's Poor And Needy, LL Cagoul J etc.) whom produced the music and when DJPR played live, the American DJ Charles Gettis, whom appeared in all photos and press releases for the project. The alias would last until 1997-2002 and provided remixes for the likes of The Beastie Boys, Korn, and Kurtis Mantronix.

Heh! Me? Not 'cool'!?!?! Don't know where you got that idea from! Pretty sure I was cool when my tunes were getting smashed on dancefloors worldwide. You might have a point if you saw me today though :)

Regarding if I was responsible for all the music..... what do you think? :)

There was some confusion as to who was actually responsible for the Deejay Punk-Roc tunes. Rumour had it that the music was actually created by John Davies, one of the co-owners of the Airdog label. As it was thought that he wasn't "cool" enough to front the project, his Airdog co-owner Andrew Erskine hired Punk-Roc as the frontman.
