The AWB (Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging) was never a major player in South African politics and since the inauguration of the new government it has pretty much disappeared into obscurity.

Whether or not the music should be interpreted as serious or ironic is completely irrelevant. No matter what our beliefs are we cannot always hide from alternative opinions. Whether these opinions are brought to us through seriousness or irony hardly matters. How we choose to react to it, however, does.

It's unfortunate that many observers miscontrue commentary for propaganda. It is my opinion that, in a similar vein to Whitehouse, the same is true here.
They were one of the few acts and labels to notice the rise of the South African AWB and Terre Blanche outside of that country and, I think, commented on it in a nature as extreme as the topic itself.
It is ironic that purely reactionary releases with racist titles (in the other direction) are allowed and seen as anti-racist.
Many topics of a taboo nature have been dealt with in an extreme way, such as AWB here, but unfortunately the point is missed by many.

Memento : At the end of the eighties, Terre Blanche (like other bands released on the AWB Recording label) was known as one of the most fascist and racist bands of the (post-) industrial music scene. Some music distributors (like V2) decided to boycott them and several musicians took position against the fascist plague in that scene, like Frans De Waard and PBK who co-released the "Anti White Bastards" compilation tape.
