Goth Rock/Electro project formed by Paradise Lost members Greg Mackintosh and Nick Holmes.

Host project came out from Host album and it was an old dream of Greg Mackintosh. The distinct sound of "Host" that at the time pursuit another direction more gothic rock even more electro gothic than metal. Although present in in the following albums such as "Believe in Nothing" "Symbol of Life" they've never came back and achieve another work of the distinctive sound of "Host".

Greg stood and mature the idea of creating another Paradise Lost work, recovering that trajectory, but with the Gothic/Metal "heavier" sound of Paradise Lost, that work never came trough. Host is a recovery project of two masterminds with a Gothic Rock/Electro trajectory that should have be more explored in 1999, but much more refined! Years pass and this project came out in the perfect time.
