Philippe Cerboneschi, professionally known as Philippe Zdar or just Zdar, was a producer, sound engineer and the owner of Motorbass Studio. He was a key figure of the 'French Touch' (aka Filter House) scene, first as member of Motorbass, then La Funk Mob and Cassius with Hubert Blanc-Francard. Zdar and Hubert Blanc-Francard met when Zdar was the assistant of Hubert's father Dominique Blanc-Francard at Studio Plus XXX.
His nickname Zdar is in reference to the actor Robert J. Zdarsky, also called Z'dar.

He died suddenly after accidentally falling through a window from a high floor in a Parisian building.
