Born October 13, 1948, Lyallpur, Punjab, Pakistan; died August 16, 1997, Cromwell Hospital, London, England.

Older brother of Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, cousin of Mujahid Mubarak Ali Khan and uncle of Rahat Ali Khan.
