Jimmy Powell And The 5 Dimensions

British blues rock/mod group, formed in late 1962.

Originally formed as The 5 Dimensions, they changed their name to Jimmy Powell And The 5 Dimensions following some line up changes, and joining up with popular Birmingham-born singer, Jimmy Powell (2).

In April 1966 Jimmy Powell And The 5 Dimensions broke up. The Five Dimensions mutated into The Score, meanwhile Jimmy was looking for another band to be The fictitious Five Dimensions.

Jimmy hooked up with local band, Puzzle, and continued to perform as Jimmy Powell and The Dimensions until their demise, in 1972.
