Da Robotz is Xel Diaz, a one man band from Asturias, Spain.
In 1978 her parents went to London to abortion, there his father was wonderful with a Korg MS20 and the money was spent in it, the result: returning to his natal Asturias with Xel and the MS20, here begins his love for the Synths. He spent much of childhood playing with musical instruments, because his parents are musicians, and among them the drums and Korg are the most gratifican for he, in 1994/95 his inclination to music becomes more serious, and began to play in hardcore bands, none of these groups get to anything interesting, but it was a great training, in 1996 Xel step into the ranks of folk (celtic) playing acoustic guitar, formed the group " Son De Llueñe" and that same year they win some competitions and are required for various events, at the end of this year he comes back to synthesizers and try to include them into the Folk band, but the adverse reactions of the components lead to dissolve the band, which leads him to start his solo career as "Da Robotz" making lives and Djiing on a lot of Pubs, he received a call to produce the electronic part of a project entitled "celtia" and he takes care of that for a year, in 2005 Da Robotz won the contest "explora" (project for the promotion of contemporary culture) in the section of electronic music, going back to 2004 he open the first "Mutronica" bar ( Electronic Experimental Music and culture) in Oviedo named "Laboratorio", which is closed in 2006 by the municipality, they would not like "mutronica" also in 2004 he does the music for the digital printing franchise MORES and UGT (General Workers' Union). In 2007 he joins the band "Axu", electronic-folk, besides another side project called "Pi (n) = xL" with Axu's flutist Pepín de Muñalen, besides continuing with his solo projects as "Da Robotz" and another alter egos.
