Phace have evolved significantly from the time of the last review. Yet, they still maintain that signature Phace sound and have gone into territories on crazy future funk beats that where previously unheard of.

It looks as though Phace's future is on their own label (n≡osignal) from now on, but their Subtitles classics still please today.

For the curious, Nick left Phace around the time the From Deep Space LP was launched in Q1 2010.

Phace (2 germans) are producing what i consider next-level-neurofunk, just what you'd expect to get when buying a subtitles release.
Their style is absolutely distinctive; you'll most likely be able to tell it's a phace tune when listening to it.
The Now&Tomorrow EP was my personal highlight in 2005, also you should check out Cyb Orc - Final Transmission (Phace Remix) on FF004 aswell as Moore's Law on Subtitles 047.
Phace alongside a few other newcomers are making dnb more worthwile than ever.
