. He has written five books between the years of 2003 and 2009: two about Britpop as a cultural and musical movement, one about politics and the 2005 UK general election, one about the making of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon", and one about rock and roll myths and legends.
He occasionally appears on British television programs about pop and rock music, and is a regular pundit on BBC2's Newsnight Review
