American jazz musician, composer and music educator.

d. 8/24/2014

A member of the jazz fusion group Matrix in the 1970's, he taught for 37 years at Lawrence University and the Eastman School of Music. His compositions include "Migrations: One World, Many Musics" and pieces for The Baseball Music Project, for which he was also the Artistic Director and Arranger.
