Queen Elizabeth I (born September 7, 1533, Palace of Placentia, Greenwich, England – died March 24, 1603, Richmond Palace, Surrey, England) was Queen of England and Ireland from November, 17 1558 until her death. Sometimes called The Virgin Queen, Gloriana or Good Queen Bess, the childless Elizabeth was the fifth and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty. Daughter of Henry VIII.
