Mikalojus Novikas (born 19th April 1940 in Vilnius, died 9th December 2022 also in Vilnius), a composer, pedagogue, collector, one of the most instrumental creators of the Lithuanian pop song tradition, also wrote different music but his heart was in the song genre.
