In 1978, Feller was given a teaching position at the Academy for Theater and Music in Munich. He began teaching at the Regensburg Professional Academy for Catholic Sacred Music and Music Education in 1980 until his appointment as professor at the Academy for Theater and Music in Munich in 1983, where he continues to teach his own class of organ students.
Harald Feller complements his active teaching work with extensive concertizing in Europe, the USA and South Korea. He has made numerous radio and CD recordings (1983: Grand Prix International du Disque Liszt) and film music (“Schlafes Bruder”).
His broad spectrum of activities also includes choral conducting and composing. In addition to works for organ, orchestra and chamber music, his main compositional focus is choral music
