Swedish jazz pianist, born November 18, 1928, died July 20, 2015.

In 1957 he formed the group Jazz Club '57 together with Bernt Rosengren, Stig Söderqvist and the singer Nannie Porres.

His playing style was characterized by a rhythmically driving accompaniment and a pregnant solo playing. He was the one who brought bebop jazz to Sweden and taught many of the younger musicians in the new style. Fager, who was his nickname, appears on over 30 jazz albums that were recorded during the 50's and 60's.
