The Cutaways

Profile:
Bellaire, Ohio 1963-6
The Cutaways (often listed as the Cut-a-Ways) came from Bellaire, Ohio, a town on the eastern edge of the state close to Wheeling, West Virginia. The group recorded two 45s as the Cutaways and a 45 apparently backing up a singer named the Big C. The Cutaways records were done on the Nashville based Sur-Speed label. The 45 of "Hold Me" includes two great British Invasion style originals. The band also recorded a 45 for the Wheeling based Agogo label in Pittsburgh.
