He was one of the musicians in John Lennon’s Flux Fiddlers, a 40+ piece group that recorded with him. He also played violin on Elvis Presley's "For the Good Times", "Never Been to Spain", and "The Impossible Dream". Being a freelance violinist allowed him to play on a variety of recordings and stages, from playing with Shirley Bassey at Carnegie Hall to playing on Don McLean, Harry Belafonte, Janis Ian, Frank Sinatra, and Aretha Franklin albums.
