American soulful vocalist, songwriter, trombone player, percussionist, keyboardist and producer. Born on January 2, 1960 in New York City and raised in the Queensbridge Projects there. Fowler is perhaps most famous for his longstanding association with The Rolling Stones but his experience has spanned all genres of music ranging from gospel, rock, R&B, jazz, funk to latin. He has appeared on tours and albums, singing and displaying his versatile and eclectic talents with some of the best-known artists of the 20th Century: Herbie Hancock, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Gil Scott-Heron, Sly & Robbie, Material, Bootsy Collins, Herb Alpert, Tackhead, The Rolling Stones and many others, as well as his own Peech Boys and Nicklebag.
