At the early age of sixteen Owen Standing established his first band.
The singer, guitar player and songwriter Owen Standing inspired the European world of music with his velvet voice and his energetic songs and soon met with success.
From Zaire, Africa he made his way to London, Paris, Berlin and Cologne, where he matured into a much sought-after performer at galas, in discotheques and on TV.
Owen Standing performed with Bad Boys Blue on their TV-perfomances in 1992-1993, and also toured in Africa with them. Later, since 1994, the guy had a solo contract with Coconut Records.
