Profile:
Czech jazz combo. Formed in early 1958 in Prague. Incorporated into the Czechoslovak Radio Dance Orchestra in 1960 as its rhythm section. Disbanded in 1961. Evolved into Jazzové Studio and SHQ. Members: Karel Velebný (vibraphone, tenor sax), Jan Konopásek (baritone sax, flute), Vladimír Tomek (guitar), Luděk Hulan (double bass), Ivan Dominák (drums), since 1959 also Artur Holitzer (valve trombone, bass trumpet).
