Influenced by EBM pioneers Front 242 and DAF, and German techno/trance legends like Sven Väth, Oliver Lieb and Hardfloor, the music of Fabrik Nos is a melting pot of dark, raw and hypnotic sounds. In 2001 he formed the Heavy Industries label with friend & production partner Simex, which - along with Rohformat and Thinner - was one of the first techno netlabels. After five full length albums and two remix albums covering everything from industrial to downtempo, the focus shifted more into the world of techno, and collaborations with LA's Droid Behavior crew followed, with Fabrik's track Genetix being remixed by Drumcell for the very first Droid Recordings 12". After several years of production, promotion and label management in the LA area, Fabrik took a break to focus on DJing and radio. In 2015 he created the EBM channel for Digitally Imported, and acted as its channel director for 2 years. Today, Fabrik Nos is regularly releasing DJ mixes in his Lessons In EBM mix series, running the Lessons In EBM online radio station, and DJing and promoting underground industrial events in the Denver area.
