Falsa Identidad

Hailing from Santander, a town in the spanish north coast, this Hip-Hop combo consisting of Priteo (PRT (2)) and DJ UVE featured rhymes and beats influenced by the jazz inspired Hip-Hop of New York and the freshness of the West Coast underground.

Since its early days the band established itself as a reference in the area despite their primitive sound on early demos. Somehow, their original ideas were clear and established a solid foundation to develop what the group wanted to express lyrically and musically.

Along with Fusión Klan and Pareja de Ases, they created the Costa Norte collective and laid the foundation for a coherent local scene. And so, with the evolution of its publications, you can see the development of both the surrounding scene and the group. And you can guess the intentions that lead their members to join Ganda (GND (2)) to later form Chinatown (3).

The life of the group spanned from the late eighties to 1999, when Chinatown was formed. During all this time, the two members of the group have collaborated with other artists and, of course, they are still working together to this day.
