Canadian indie rock outfit founded in 2007 in Calgary, Alberta.

Patrick Flegel (vocals/guitar)
Matt Flegel (bass/vocals)
Chris Reimer (guitar/vocals)
Michael Wallace (drums)

The four members of Women have been in bands together since childhood, and as a result the foursome is able to marry dense experimental noise and intricate instrumentation with delicate, melodic songwriting in a seemingly effortless manner.
On February 8, 2012, guitarist Christopher Reimer performed at Weeds Cafe in Calgary, Thirteen days later, on February 21, Reimer died in his sleep. In 2012 Chad van Gaalen released The Chad Tape, containing 9 Reimer solo tracks.
Following the disbanding of the band and Reimer's death, Matthew Flegel and Michael Wallace formed the band Viet Cong (2) in 2012, while Pat Flegel formed Cindy Lee.
