Mistral (2)

Synthpop project started by Robbie van Leeuwen of Galaxy-Lin and Rick van der Linden in 1977, featuring a rotating cast of uncredited female singers. Their first hit "Jamie", in 1977, featured Sylvia van Asten of Funny Face. The following year brought "Starship 109", featuring Marjan Schatteleyn; and their last hit, "Neon City" featuring Mariska Veres (the voice of Robbie's earlier band, Shocking Blue). In 1980, three more singles followed, which did not chart: "You're My Hero" featured Sheen Milholland (who previously recorded her own version in 1976); "I Feel It", featuring Julia Loko of Cheyenne, and "Cati-Ca-Too".
