Slam (18)

SLAM founded in 1982, Gävle, Sweden (a couple hours drive north of Stockholm) and is considered to be Sweden's first skate-punk band, and one of the first in Europe alongside with Germany's SPERMBIRDS and DISASTER AREA. They featured on various legendary compilations such as American "Thrasher Skate Rock Volume 3 - Wild Riders Of Boards" (which named by their song), French "Chaos In Europe" in 1985, and on Swedish "Really Fast Vol. 3" in 1986. In 1986 they toured the United States playing with bands like CIRCLE JERKS, GANG GREEN, SAINT VITUS, SNFU - for an 80s Swedish punk band that was a quite big thing. The band broke up in 1987.
