Laurie Radford

Profile:
Laurie Radford (Manitoba, 1958) has written music for a variety of chamber ensembles, orchestra, choir, percussion, electroacoustic and computer-generated media, film and video. Educated at Brandon University (Manitoba), The University of British Columbia, and McGill University, he has also studied and worked at The Banff Centre for the Arts, Les Ateliers UPIC (Paris) and the Darmstadt Ferienkurse für Neue Musik. His music has been performed throughout Canada, Europe and South America and has been broadcast by CBC Radio, Radio-Canada, and Radio-France. His works are also available on McGill Records labels. Laurie Radford teaches electroacoustic techniques and composition at McGill University and Concordia University in Montréal.
