Hans-Rudolf Thiel
Journalist and interpreter, born 26/04/1912 in Altona-Ottensen (Hamburg), Germany. In 1920 he moved to Gelsenkirchen, Germany, and later on studied political science and French cultural philosophy. He found an occupation in taking care of local heritage. Apart from his activities as an author, he has written mostly carnival and traditional songs. Hans-Rudolf Thiel also used the pseudonym "Jovis".
