Alone or as part of "Archon" with JonnyC, Sinestro always pushes the boundaries and does what he love’s best which is making people dance. Sinestro’s career highlights include his 2nd place finish at the 1997 Buzz/Fever DJ Contest (beating out such talented DJ’s as Wilhelm K, TY-T, J Smooth, and Prime Mover). Sinestro’s huge DC fan base and kinetic skills have landed him as a headliner or support act for some of the biggest names in electronica including Carl Cox, Josh Wink, Richie Hawtin, Mixmaster Mike (Beastie Boys), Superstar DJ Keoki, Bad Boy Bill and far too many more to name.
With so many DJ’s popping out on the scene these days, Sinestro realized the need to separate himself from the competition. One way was to produce and promote his own events. As a promoter, Sinestro has produced and promoted countless successful events and club nights over a 12-year span. Another weapon in Sinestro’s arsenal has been his amazing skills as a producer and A&R man. With continued DIY passion, Sinestro released his first record on his Random Recordings label in '96, Released a collaboration with Frankie Bones on Hard to Swallow records, released another record on the syndicate recordings with Miah and Simon and finally released a new EP through Woody Mcbride’s seminal imprint Communique recordings. Sinestro helped run a crew of top DC area DJ’s to perform as part of The Syndicate, his management company with partner DJ Miah and worked alongside legendary DJ/Promoters Scott Henry and John Tab at the world-renowned Buzz nightclub in Washington DC, frequently rocking crowds there. Week after week he continues to amaze crowds and press alike wherever he may be.
