He studied at the Royal College of Music, London. He has been a member of the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble, The English Baroque Soloists, the Philharmonia Orchestra, The London Gabrielli Brass Ensemble, and the Orchestra Of The 18th Century. He runs and directs Harvey's Brass. He has taught at the Royal College of Music.
