Anna Croad

Profile:

Anna Croad, born in 1977, is a freelance violinist from the UK. And, as also an honours graduate of The Royal Academy of Music Anna Croad enjoys an career which encompasses playing in many major London orchestras including BBC Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Trafalgar Sinfonia, Britten Sinfonia. She has also worked extensively as a chamber musician in quartets, trios, as a duo with Alex Barnes, and has given solo concerto performances at St Martin-in-the-Fields Church by Trafalgar Square in London. Anna founded, together with Libby Croad, the contemporary trio ‘Blue Topaz Strings’ for which she also writes arrangements.

Anna has been privileged to perform, tour and record with artists including Luciano Pavarotti, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Kiri Te Kanawa, Yo-Yo Ma, Adele (3), Simply Red, Emeli Sande and Lana Del Rey amongst others.
