All started in early 80's when guitarist/vocalist Nick Papakostas and drummer Nick Geraris rehearsing in order to form a band. Later on, bassist Kostas Manopoulos joined and with this line-up they started the gigs.
1984 and a slight line-up change occurs. Kostas Manopoulos became band's second guitarist while bassist Akis Thomas joined. With this line-up they recorded their first, self-financed LP titled "Vice Human" which was released by the independent greek label Polyavlos (Πολύαυλος). With great feedback, this LP was a big success, opening them the way to sign a deal with a bigger label, FM Records.
1985, and a new line-up change. Guitarist George Manolidakis was replaced Kostas Manopoulos and with this line-up band's second LP, "Metal Attack" was released.
For many years after "Metal Attack", Vice Human were still active but in semi-hibernation, with many line-up changes, some gigs and recording some new material.
2003, and the greek label Supreme Music Creations got in contact with founding member Nick Papakostas and proposed the release Vice Human's third album, "Set Me Free" on CD. That release was a great comeback for Vice Human and as well got a great feedback.
2004 and the anniversary LP "Beyond this Life" was released, in order to celebrate the 20 years of the band. Recorded by the original trio Papakostas-Geraris-Manopoulos, contains new songs as well as re-recorded versions of songs from their second album "Metal Attack" ("Hooligan Hero", "Metal wars" and "Alive in the night") with proper and way better production than 20 years back.
After this release another line-up occurs and bassist Michael Bakoulas and drummer Bill Xirokostas joined. With the new line-up Vice Human supported on stage legends like Brocas Helm, Diamond head and Ross The Boss with his band.
For the years to come, Vice Human continued to deliver what they can deliver best, pure heavy metal the old way, and they still do until today.
