Los Archiduques

Los Archiduques

Spanish band, the biggest pop band from Asturias in the 60s. Famous thanks to their singer, Tino Casal, later known as Casal. Founded in 1963, they released their first EP in 1965: "Le Ciel, le Soleil et la Mer / Nunca Digas Adiós / Escucha mi Canción / Fui al Cristu" (Columbia). In 1967 they enroled José Celstino Casal, and they released "No le Ames / Lamento de Gaitas". In 1971 Tino left them and they split-up.

Their drummer, Pedro Bastarrica, would create Estudio Eolo and produced first Ilegales (2) recordings.
