I'm not big on watching videos while listening to music, but I appreciate Basement Jaxx for their entertaining and well thought out videos. They are so entertaining, captivating and humorous. I think "Take Me Back To Your House" is one of the funniest music videos ever made. So there!

Never expect any 2 songs from the Jaxx to be the same. These 2 Londoners never fail to surprise people whenever a new single comes out. From the old house songs of "Rendez-Vous" to the new and bouncy "Oh My Gosh", they always blow me away.
And their remixes aren't anything short of a masterpiece. Their time and dedication into remixes is so large , that it is astounding to see that their remixes sound almost nothing like the original mix! One great remix I definately love is "Phoenix" from Daft Punk. A good song on it's own, the remix brings some Middle-Eastern culture to it, making it a number 1 in my list.
I hope to hear more and more good news from these 2 boys and never give up their dexterity

Basement Jaxx are truly one of the most daring and forward-looking projects house music has ever seen. Ever since their beginning, they are not afraid to experiment and bring new sounds and combinations to the tried and tested house music formula. Even today, as one of the biggest electronic/dance acts in the world, they keep pushing boundaries, yet manage to bring an altogether irresistible pop sensibility to what they do. Sure some "purists" don't have them in much consideration. But hey, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and other jazz greats were looked aside by the same "purists". And isn't music supposed to be about self-expression? The answer is quite clear. And I truly believe Basement Jaxx are going to be remembered for years by successive new generations of electronic music lovers, who I am sure will look back and give their due props for their groundbreaking work.

Basement Jaxx are true pioneers of electronic dance music and desereve the upmost recognition and respect for what they have achieved thus far. Along with Daft Punk and Todd Edwards, they have set the benchmark for modern production techniques.
