Profile:
Fred Lane, born in 1945, is an English musician and composer, living in Sweden since 1970. He often collaborates with diverse musicians, and mastered including guitar, harmonica, oil drums and accordion. He made in 1974 the LP Swedish Songs, where he translated the Nils Ferlin and Dan Andersson to English. In 1977, we forge, 1981 To the sunrise and to happiness (in collaboration with the group Catches surge) and the State 2010 (2010), where he collaborated with musician Kjell Westling. Last disc is Right Visor & Controversy (2013), which he set to music writer Victor Estbys time verses.
Lane has been in Rajtan Band and Bella ciao Group and together with Birger Schlaug done and toured with the show (D) Elvis Presley, which Schlaug talks about Elvis Presley and Lane play songs that Elvis performed.
Along with Victor Eestinkylä collaborate Lane since 2012 around Estbys time verses, set to music by Lane. The two appear together with their verses and songs in different scenes. 2012, he was also co-starred on Anxiety parade along with Rompiendo Lonjas.
2005 received the Fred Lane CREA 's (Swedish Composers of Popular Music) scholarship.
