Stephen Shannon

Stephen Shannon
Recording engineer, producer, and musician based in Dublin, Ireland.
Set up a recording studio in 2006 called Experimental Audio. a purpose-built space to be creative and focus on various projects including dozens of bands and artists in Ireland at present.

He is a member of post rock/electronic act Halfset.
Stephen also releases records under the moniker Strands and released a critically acclaimed self titled debut in 2010.

Steve has recorded various soundtracks for independent films. Productions include "Skin Deep" (MINT), "Fight Or Flight" (Good Dog Films) and "Saviours" (Street Films) and the Neil Jordan film Ondine.

Stephen has recorded and/or produced four Choice Music Prize nominated records. Adrian Crowley'"Long Distance Swimming" (2007), Halfset "Another Way Of Being There" (2008), Adrian Crowley "Season of the Sparks" (winner of 2009 prize) and Adrian Crowley I See Three Birds Flying (2012).
