Neapolitan singer and actress (born Procida, Naples, February 11, 1922 - ✝ Naples, April 4, 1993). Mother by the very talented actor and singer Peppe Barra and Gabriele Barra (the latter her musical accompanist and researcher of folk songs), she has been able to bring to light the ancient folk music of the Neapolitan song repertoire.
